Deep Channel Pressure Relief

French Drain System Installation

Excessive dampness in a crawlspace or basement can cause a lot of problems, not to mention the smell…

No matter what they call it or how they install it, I promise you that most waterproofing solutions are a variation of this basic, proven technique that has been around since it was first described by Henry French (no he was not French, he was American!)  in 1859.   Modern materials and tools have allowed us to perfect this and create systems that move more water, and prevent the clogging that was common to the early systems.  (And is still common to some of our competitors… 😥 )

At Bonded Waterproofing Solutions we implement a variation of the French Drain system which we call the BWS “Deep Channel Pressure Relief” System.   We believe the variation we have developed over the last three decades is both the most cost effective, and the most reliable system being put in place today.  It doesn’t rely on gimmicks, our solutions are instead informed by the thousands of basement water situations we’ve helped and learned from.  Experience.  It’s these proven results which have kept us in business for over 30 years with tens of thousands of satisfied customers.

To understand the mechanics of a French drain system and installation refer to the  illustrations below.   While each installation may have some variation depending on what our experts determine after analyzing your home,  these are inevitably the primary steps involved.
